PT Water-based polishing paste
Water-based diamond paste consists of water-soluble ingredients, which provide excellent ease of use and cleaning. Depending on the type, the diamond paste can be evenly distributed on the polishing material or stick to the wheels or brushes.
Water-based polishing pastes are suitable for soft metals, plastics, ceramics, glass due to their mild abrasiveness.
Recommended applications: optical polishing, jewelry, polishing delicate surfaces such as quartz and glass, polishing dental materials.
Oil-based polishing paste
Oil-based diamond or CBN paste contains an oil carrier that provides improved lubrication, an adsorption-active medium and other ingredients to ensure high polishing efficiency and corrosion protection. Solvents or special cleaning agents are required for removal.
Oil-based pastes are suitable for harder materials such as hardened steels, tungsten carbide and advanced ceramics.
Recommended applications: finishing of tools and dies, sharpening of knives, polishing of hard metals and industrial components.
