Founded in 2008 in Poltava, Ukraine, Merqum LLC(Tax ID: 34874284) is a specialized provider of high-performance superabrasive solutions. Led by Director Mykhailo Spivak (MBA), our company operates globally through this specialized platform, our US-based webstore, and our established eBay presence.

Heritage & People

With over 20 years of industry experience, our team has deep roots in superabrasive engineering. Our background includes collaboration and leadership roles at world-renowned entities such as Element Six and Poltava Diamond Plant. Today, we leverage this expertise to manufacture our own lines of Diamond and CBN tools while selling also products from premium European brands like HB (Germany), Precision Eforming (USA), Yamato Wire Netting (Japan), National Graphite (USA),  Agathon and Jota(Switzerland).

Our headquarters is located in Poltava, a city widely recognized as the "European capital of the diamond industry." This unique ecosystem hosts a cluster of specialized manufacturers, from industrial giants to agile, innovation-driven companies like Merqum. Through strategic cooperation with major Poltava plants, we offer a comprehensive range of superabrasive tools according to FEPA standards, including:

1. Diamond and CBN Grinding/Cutting Wheels:1А1, 12A2-45, 11V9-70, 6A2, 14F1, 4BT9, and many others.
2. Diamond and CBN sharpening stones manufactured with bonds, optimized for manual sharpening: metal, hybrid, resin.
3. Diamond and CBN polishing pastes: soluble in oil or water, soft, solid and fast-drying.
4. Availability: Popular items (resin bond cup and straight wheels) are kept in stock for immediate dispatch. Custom orders are manufactured to exact client specifications.

Note on Market Positioning: Our tools are engineered for performance. We do not compete on price with low-quality oriental or generic alternatives, as the performance gap in metalworking and carbide grinding is immense.

Technical Leadership & Quality of Powders

The performance of a diamond tool depends entirely on the quality of the synthetic diamond powder. Many tools currently on the market use powders unsuitable for the mechanized grinding of metals. To ensure peak performance, we cooperate closely with the Institute of Superhard Materials (Kyiv). This partnership guarantees a supply of powders with the specific friability and strength required for high-precision industrial tasks.
