Boron nitride paste
BORON NITRIDE HEAT RESISTANT PASTE (Wurtzite)

WURTZENITE™ BORON NITRIDE, HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANT PASTE

Net weight: 50, 150, 500, 1000 gr.

Content: wurtzite boron nitride powder (10/7 micron), 40% in water/alcohol soluble composition.

Properties: boron nitride thermal paste, high temperature resistance and conductivity, dielectric strength (eliminates the risk of shorting out)
Thermal conductivity  2.7 watt/centimeter/°C
(Thermal conductivity of  wurtzite boron nitride powder- 7.4 watt/centimeter/°C compared to silver with 4.29 watt/centimeter/°C)

Grain size:  10/7 micron  (see particle  size distribution diagram of wurtzite boron nitride powder)

Application:
- mold release;
- detaching (dismantling) and protective for high temperatures (up to 2000 °C);
- anti-stick coating;
- thermal conductor, including for more effective heat distribution in 3-d printers' hot blocks, reducing clogs and making removing nozzles easier;
- facilitates cutting of hard materials, extends the service life of cutting tools, provides a lower operating temperature.

How it works: composition  evaporates under high temperature, leaving boron nitride on the surface, which, to some extent, is also stress resistant. On the first heating of wet surface, there is a mild burning plastic smell, which is the glycating agent evaporating, so for first indoor use ventilation is needed  or let paste dry.
If smell is an issue, buy wurtzite boron nitride powder and make water mixture (1:1 by weight).

Directions of use:
- General:  apply uniform layer to the surface and let it dry;
- 3-d printer cartridges (thermistor & heater) and heat breaks: coat the surface, install while the paste is still wet and let it dry before heating up;
- Nozzles: apply small amount to threads of the nozzle (do not apply the paste  to the threads of the heater block), install the nozzle while the paste is still wet and let it dry before heating.

Read more how to use Wurtzenite™ Boron Nitride paste

 Advantages:
- Thermal expansion of wurtzite boron nitride (according to Ioffe Institute) is approx. 1.5 lower than that of hexagonal boron nitride and other heat resistant materials. Which means higher stability of coating layer under high temperatures (<2000 °C = 3632 °F);
-  Thermal conductivities of wurtzite crystal, parallel and perpendicular to the axis, are identical. Which means higher stability of thermal properties in comparison to other heat resistant materials, including such forms of boron nitride as hexagonal and cubic.

heat resistant paste
BORON NITRIDE HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANT COATING (WurtziteC)

WURTZENITE™ BORON NITRIDE, HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANT COATING

Net weight: 100, 500, 1000 gr., or custom packaging.

Content: WBN (wurtzite boron nitride powder, grain size 10/7 micron) in heat resistant carrier (phosphates, aluminum oxide, sulphates).

Product format: water soluble paste; does not dry out under normal outdoor conditions.

Properties of boron nitride thermal coating:
- High temperature resistance and conductivity, dielectric strength (eliminates the risk of shorting out).
- Thermal conductivity  2.7 watt/centimeter/°C
(Thermal conductivity of  wurtzite boron nitride powder- 7.4 watt/centimeter/°C compared to silver with 4.29 watt/centimeter/°C)
- Dielectric constant - 5
- Dielectric loss tangent- 2 * 104 tgδ, 1 MHz

Application:
- Detaching (dismantling) and protective for high temperatures (up to 2000 °C);
- Anti-stick coating,
- Radio-transparent coating, etc.

How it works: carrier and wurtzite boron nitride hardens on the surface under high temperature and leaves a stress-resistant coating, see the video below.

The boron nitride coating was applied in 3 layers and one layer (right) on a spherical surface. After 24 hours of drying at room temperature, it was subjected to cyclic heating and cooling. The coating remained on the surface, but after temperature changes and mechanical impact, it peeled off. Molten aluminum sticks to the coating.

We melt pieces of copper and aluminum on a stainless steel tray with a three-layer coating of boron nitride. The pieces melted, the coating was not destroyed.

Directions of use: apply uniform layer to the surface and let it dry.
- Under room temperature it dries approx. 24 hours, surface just should not be sticky. Heating to 150-200 degrees will speed up the drying.
- The coating may be applied with a spatula. Creates a relatively thick coating layer. Weight per 1 m²: 600-900 g.
- Add up to 20% of distilled (preferably) water by weight and stir well for using a spray gun. It is advisable to apply in several layers with a break between coatings of 2-3 hours at room temperature to let previous layer dry. Water should evaporate before use, or surface may "boil" when heated.
Weight of layer per 1 m²: ~300 g.

Once opened, use within 7 days or store in tightly closed bottle.

 Advantages:
- Thermal expansion of wurtzite boron nitride (according to Ioffe Institute) is approx. 1.5 lower than that of hexagonal boron nitride and other heat resistant materials. Which means higher stability of coating layer under high temperatures (<2000 °C = 3632 °F);
-  Thermal conductivities of wurtzite crystal, parallel and perpendicular to the axis, are identical. Which means higher stability of thermal properties in comparison to other heat resistant materials, including such forms of boron nitride as hexagonal and cubic.

Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes or skin - rinse with water

Application:  anti-stick coatings, dry lubricant, high temperature resistant additive, synthesis of superhard materials.
These powders may be added to plastics, potting compounds, oils, greases and other materials to provide enhanced thermal conductivity and dielectric strength.

How to prepare  boron nitride anti-stick coating for protection of metals, glass, ceramics, composites, plastics and other materials.

  Wurtzite boron nitride has a potential for manufacturing of advanced electronic devices, because such its properties as  as a wider band gap, higher thermal conductivity, and larger spontaneous polarization, are superior to Gallium nitride (GaN) and Aluminium nitride (AlN).
Incorporation of a few percent of B in AlN and GaN is an important perspective in strain engineering and  developing deep UV emitters

According to Ioffe Institute, thermal expansion of wurtzite boron nitride is the lowest among other materials, so it ensures higher stability of coating layer under high temperatures. You can buy high temperature wurtzite boron nitride paste here.

polishing emulsion
CBN EMULSION SPRAY, HIGH CONCENTRATION (DEH)

CBN EMULSION SPRAY, CBN SUSPENSION, CBN SLURRY
HIGH CONCENTRATION

Cubic boron nitride stopping emulsion.
CBN is nearly as hard as diamond and harder than the Vanadium carbides found in many abrasion resistant steels.  CBN gives a more comfortable shave than diamond for straight razor users.

Weight: 40 gr.

Base:  Oil
Our base composition offers high lubrication properties and corrosion protection. Since CBN emulsion is recommended only for metals, we make it only oil based.  But we make water based cubic boron nitride emulsions on order.

Grain size: Please select from the list
The finest grain size is 0.5/0 micron (fine polishing), but we can make 0.25/0 and 0.1/0 micron.

 This emulsion shows excellent non-drying(delayed drying) properties:
- Unlike other common water-based products on the market that dry out easily, this emulsion is very suitable for lapping as it can be used for a long time without particle clog and fixation(less impregnation) due to fast drying.
- It works really well on strop media that is harder than leather, like copper(half impregnation/half loose), cast iron, granite, CGSW hard strop.
- Excellent deburr properties in loose abrasive's rolling abrasion mode.

Why it's important:
As you know, once you apply diamond/CBN to leather, it will work almost forever. However, for non-absorbent surfaces, most emulsions will lose most of its abrasiveness when washed out -> frequent reapply required = higher consumption and higher costs.

Shake it well before use
Coarse grains (> 5/3 micron) are heavier, so shake it even better,
if you still see residue on the bottom - It wouldn't hurt to stir it with thin stick.

Bonds:
Resin bond:
phenol-formaldehyde,  does not require lubricant, but you may use water (or water based cooling liquids)
Metal bond: M2-01, copper-tin

Grain size: Please select from the list, or read Technical information.
The finest grain size is 0.5/0 micron (fine polishing) , the coarsest - 200/160 micron (rough grinding).
In grain selection window you see grain sizes according to standards:
MICRON = MESH(GRIT) = FEPA

Available on stock

Preparation of sharpening stones
These stones require preparation (dressing), or they will be self-polished after sharpening of 30-50 knives. Then they will be of gold color and work well.
This is common issue for all manufacturers: abrasive grains are covered with bond, so you need to "release" them.

Use and cleaning of sharpening stones
Use any comfortable oil (baby, olive..) to prevent glazing. If glazed - clean with alcohol and toothbrush.

Maintenance (in 1-2 years), flattening/revitalization:
- resin bond stones - with silicon (silica) carbide powders on glass plate,
- metal bond stones - with FeCl.
   - 10 mins setting in 25% mixture (25 gr FeCl per 75 gr of water),
   - 10 mins polish movements (carefully draw "8") on glass plate.
 You may buy 100 gr. of FeCl in grain selection window. I sell it if you buy a stone.

diamond pastes fast dry
QUICK-DRYING DIAMOND PASTES, CONCENTRATION 3E (FDDP55)

QUICK-DRYING
DIAMOND POLISHING, LAPPING PASTE,
CONCENTRATION TRIPLE EXTRA HIGH

Weight: 20 gr.
Concentration:  3 times higher than extra high concentration diamond paste.

Alcohol-based, so store in a tightly closed bottle to prevent evaporation. If it is dry, dilute it with alcohol.
Precise particle size distribution of diamond powders.

Achieve a flawless, mirror-like finish in record time with our Premium Quick-Drying Diamond Paste. Engineered for professional knife sharpeners, jewelers, metallurgists, and mold makers, this high-performance abrasive compound is designed to maximize stock removal while delivering pristine surface clarity. Packed with a massive   diamond concentrations (e,g, 55 carats per 20-gram jar of 10/7), it provides unparalleled cutting speed and durability compared to standard, diluted polishing pastes.

The Innovation: From Liquid Paste to a Premium Polishing Stone

What sets this formula apart is its unique transformative property. Upon application, the carrier base evaporates rapidly, causing the compound to undergo a physical transition:
  1. Innovative Solidifying Bond: After drying, the paste creates a  waxy layer over your polisher or blade.
  2. Diamond-Impregnated Matrix: This protective wax becomes heavily impregnated with diamond particles , locking them tightly in place.
  3. Instant Sharpening Stone Transformation: This process effectively turns your leather strop, balsa wood, felt wheel, or metal lap into a high-performance polishing stone . This eliminates the mess of shifting paste, stops diamond particles from migrating, and provides a solid, uniform abrasive surface that mimics the precision of a diamond sharpening stone.

Why Choose Our  Triple Extra High Concentration Diamond Paste?

  1. Lightning-Fast Drying Formula: Our advanced volatile carrier base evaporates quickly after application. This prevents the compound from spinning off, splattering, or running when used on high-speed polishing wheels or manual strops.
  2. Maximum Diamond Density: With a Triple Extra High abrasive concentration, every drop is loaded with industrial-grade micro-diamonds. You need less product to get the job done, reducing polishing time and product consumption.
  3. Precision Gradation & Uniform Particle Distribution: Available in multiple micron sizes for everything from aggressive stock removal to final optical-grade mirror polishing. Zero agglomeration ensures scratch-free, uniform finishes.
  4. Easy Cleanup: Despite forming a durable waxy layer during use, the compound is formulated to wash away effortlessly using standard degreasers or warm soapy water, leaving no permanent residue behind.

Versatile Industrial & Workshop Applications

Our quick-drying diamond compound excels on the world's hardest materials:
  1. Knife Sharpening & Stropping: Perfect for loading leather, balsa wood, or composite strops. The hardened waxy layer creates a razor-sharp, mirror edge on premium tool steels (M390, CPM-20CV, D2) and tungsten carbide without rounding the apex.
  2. Gemstone & Jewelry Polishing: Provides exceptional clarity and brilliance on diamonds, sapphires, rubies, quartz, and precious metals.
  3. Mold, Die & Tool Engineering: Ideal for precision lapping, final finishing of injection mold cavities, and eliminating tool marks on hardened steel surfaces.
  4. Metallurgical & Optical Preparation: Trusted by labs for scratch-free specimen preparation and optical glass polishing.

How to Achieve Best Results

  1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure your workpiece is clean and free of debris from previous coarser grinding steps.
  2. Apply Sparingly: Due to the heavy 3E concentration, a tiny bead is highly effective. Apply to your strop or polishing tool and spread evenly.
  3. Allow to Set: Wait a few moments for the quick-drying carrier to stabilize and form the diamond-impregnated waxy stone layer .
  4. Polish: Work the surface with uniform pressure. Clean the workpiece thoroughly before moving to a finer micron grade to prevent cross-contamination.

dental diamond polishing paste solid
SOLID DIAMOND POLISHING PASTE FOR DENTAL MATERIALS (SDp800)

DIAMOND POLISHING PASTE FOR CERAMIC / ZIRCONIUM RESTORATIONS

Clinically tested solid diamond polishing paste to obtain perfect surfaces of ceramics, metals and other hard to process materials (porcelain, composite materials, amalgam lithium-disilicate, zirconium oxide, veneering and hybrid ceramics, etc).

The paste is solid, so it's easy to apply and  it sticks well to the wheels, which makes it economical to use.
It's recommended to use with felt wheels, suitable for rotation speed of 5.000 - 10.000 Rpm.

Since the pastes contain insoluble content (diamond powder) that can enter the gastrointestinal tract, they are NOT recommended to be used directly in the patient's mouth.

Diamond concentration:  20%
twice as high as the standard Extra High concentratioh1n
Weight: 15 gr

Safety Data Sheet

Grain sizes:
3/2 micron - the coarsest grit in a set, semi-gloss finish, which, in fact, is enough in most cases;
1/0 micron - for intermediary operations, gloss finish;
0,5/0 micron - the finest grit in a set, super gloss finish.

    How to use:

    1. Collect the diamond paste with a rotating felt wheel or brush (5,000 - 10,000 rpm).
    2. Polish the desired surface by holding the object firmly with your hand and using moderate pressure.
    3. Change the direction of polishing the surface again and again, preferably in a circle.
    4. Once the polishing effect decreases, take more diamond paste.
    5. Rinse the polished item under running water.
